Our Baulkham Hills house painting project involved nicotine staining, cooking-oil marks, mould-affected surfaces, wallpaper removal and water-damaged ceilings. Selected textured ceilings were removed and replaced with plasterboard in five areas; other damaged ceiling sections were patched and repaired.

Mould-affected areas were treated and wiped before priming. Zinsser primers were used on affected surfaces, including B-I-N in selected areas, while repaired ceiling sections received a Dulux primer. The interior finishes included Dulux wall paint, flat Dulux ceiling paint and Dulux Aquanamel on timberwork.

Outside, cracked and peeling eaves were sanded and patched, with Dulux Sealer Binder applied where needed before repainting. The exterior used Dulux Weathershield, and the timber entry door was finished with Cutek Oil.
