Interior House Painters Sydney.
Interior House Painting SydneyProfessional interior house painting across Sydney for walls, ceilings, doors, trims and woodwork. We focus on careful preparation, clean workmanship and durable finishes, whether you’re refreshing a single room, updating a renovated home or completing a full interior repaint.

Preparation Comes First
A high-quality interior finish starts before the first coat of paint. We repair cracks, patch holes, sand uneven areas and prepare damaged surfaces before painting. Bare or repaired areas are primed where required so the final coats sit evenly and deliver a clean, consistent finish.
Paint Systems for Walls, Ceilings & Woodwork
Different surfaces need different coatings.
We use professional Dulux and Taubmans paint systems selected for the room, surface and required finish, including washable wall coatings, ceiling paints and durable finishes for doors, trims and woodwork.
Clean Work With Minimal Disruption
Floors, furniture and surrounding surfaces are protected before preparation begins. We manage dust carefully, keep work areas organised and clean up throughout the project. Before starting an occupied home, we discuss furniture access, room order and how the work may affect daily routines. For apartments, please let us know about building access, parking and any permitted working hours.
From Single Rooms to Complete Interior Repaints
Our interior painting work ranges from individual bedrooms and living areas to complete house repaints.
We paint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, skirting boards and other interior woodwork, with preparation and coating systems tailored to the condition of each surface.
Interior Preparation: A Baulkham Hills Project
Our Baulkham Hills house repaint involved nicotine staining, cooking-oil marks, mould-affected surfaces, wallpaper removal and water-damaged ceilings. Selected ceilings were replaced with new plasterboard, while other damaged areas were repaired. After cleaning and repairs, we used Zinsser primers for the affected surfaces, including B-I-N in selected areas, and a Dulux primer on repaired ceiling sections.
The job was also staged around the owners’ new timber flooring. Wall coats and timberwork were completed in stages, with a return visit for the remaining finishing work after the floor was installed. This project shows why the existing surface condition and the sequence of other trades matter when comparing an interior painting quote.
See the finish before planning your repaint
Our Dover Heights interior repaint covered walls, ceilings, doors, frames, skirting boards and timber trim, with crack repairs, patching and sanding before Dulux finishes.
The Glenorie interior project used Taubmans paint systems and included a navy feature wall with matching joinery. These projects show different scopes and colour choices.
For an apartment example, the Wahroonga repaint included repairs around water-damaged window areas, two coats of Dulux Wash&Wear on walls, Dulux Professional ceiling paint and Dulux Aquanamel on doors and door jambs. Its before-and-after photos document the bedroom colour change.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an interior house repaint take?
The timeframe depends on the size of the home, surface condition, preparation required, number of rooms and the scope of ceilings, walls and woodwork. After inspecting the property, we can provide a more accurate expected timeframe.
Do I need to move all furniture before painting?
Not usually. Small and valuable items should be removed where possible, while larger furniture can often be moved within the room and carefully protected. Floors and surrounding surfaces are also covered before preparation and painting begins.
Do you repair cracks and holes before painting?
Yes. Normal preparation can include filling holes, repairing cosmetic cracks, patching damaged areas, sanding and priming where required before finish coats are applied.
What paint do you use for interior house painting?
We use professional Dulux and Taubmans coating systems selected to suit each surface, including walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork. Product selection depends on the room, existing surface and finish required.
Can you repaint nicotine-stained or water-marked interiors?
We assess the existing coating, the staining and any damaged areas before specifying preparation and primer. Our Baulkham Hills project included cleaning, repairs and Zinsser stain-blocking primers; the Wahroonga apartment included repairs around water-damaged window areas. Ongoing leaks or moisture problems need attention before repainting.
